You will help standardize processes, strengthen resource utilization, and reduce operational errors and cycle times. As a key escalation point for operations leadership, you will influence decisions and support the successful launch of new programs. You will also play a central role in developing future Project Controls leaders through coaching, training, and mentorship.

  • Analyze regional performance data to identify trends, root causes of inefficiencies, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Lead initiatives designed to reduce errors, improve cycle times, and optimize resource utilization across the Project Controls support function.
  • Serve as the Project Controls representative and primary point of contact for the Opportunity-to-Award workflow associated with new programs.
  • Ensure effective handoffs and onboarding of new programs into established Project Controls processes, systems, and standards.
  • Lead recurring training sessions, knowledge-sharing activities, and best-practice discussions across regional Project Controls teams.
  • Develop a strong pipeline of future Project Controls leaders through coaching, mentoring, and professional development.
  • Serve as a senior escalation point for operations leadership and Project Controls management.
  • Perform additional responsibilities and duties as required.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in Project Controls, administrative leadership, operational leadership, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of people leadership experience.
  • 3+ years of experience working directly with executive-level leadership, such as Vice Presidents or Presidents.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Ability and willingness to travel nationwide.
  • Strong commitment to safety and the expectation of maintaining a zero-incident mindset.
  • Strong customer-centric approach and alignment with organizational mission, values, and goals.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strong time management, accountability, organization, and prioritization skills.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and focused on achieving departmental objectives.
  • Strong problem-solving and solution-oriented capabilities.
  • Excellent relationship-building and influencing skills, with the ability to drive desired outcomes through collaboration.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strategic and forward-thinking mindset combined with strong business and financial acumen.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to build trust, develop talent, and lead teams through standardization and organizational change.

Benefits:

  • Full-time, exempt leadership position.
  • National scope with opportunities to work across regional Project Controls operations.
  • Leadership responsibilities focused on team development, process excellence, and operational improvement.
  • Opportunity to influence national standards and support the launch of new programs.
  • Temperature-controlled office environment with standard office equipment and technology.
  • Professional development through coaching, training, mentorship, and leadership-building initiatives.
  • Commitment to safety, wellness, learning, diversity and inclusion, and community engagement.
  • Equal opportunity employment environment.
  • Candidates are required to complete a selection assessment and pre-employment drug screen.
